Dublin - Day 5

Monday. We took a drive to the south of Dublin. No particular destination, just a loose plan to head into the hills and lakes, and maybe end up somewhere along the shore. Maybe not even make it back. How perfect! It was also a chance for Uli to show me what her turbo charged, intercooled, Suzuki Wagon R could do. It is just so cool hearing the turbo kick in and out. The day was very cold and windy, but with a great sky that balanced the sun and clouds beautifully. Too cold to go swimming. (Yeah, you heard me!) It was the last day of a holiday weekend, so we skipped the tourist swamped Wicklow Trail area, and headed for the shore, ending up in Arklow where we found a nice B&B and had a smoked mackerel, chorico, fresh crusty bread, and camembert picnic in our room before passing out.
