Hatteras '08: Day 2


Another early start. It blew all night and it doesn't look like it will drop much below 30 all
day. Peak of 35 expected. Lyle was firt to plane on his 5.0, but eventually got overpowered even
on his 4.0.

Still no water in the sound. OK, raise your hands, who else brought their kites? Anyone? Beuler?The boys arrived, but too late to sail. So We ate like kings, had a killer jam session well into the night, and had deep discussions about fans, India, China, the economy, and Bitch re-enacted Iwo Jima in extreme detail.

Breakfast:
Easter Stollen
Singleton's cob smoked bacon
Fried onion omelette
Lunch:
Hazed & Infused, dry hopped ale, Boulder Beer Co.
Egg sandwiches

Dinner:
Angel hair pasta smothered in 4lbs of shrimp
Garlic and cream sauce with sherry and 2 lbs of crab meat
Garnished with fresh chopped basil and parsley

Dessert:
Ice cream sandwiches
Caol Ila, 18 year, Islay Scotch
Macallan 12
Cigare Cognac, Pierre Ferrand
Remy VSOP
Guinness
Home made choc chip walnut cookies
Martinis
Cigars
